Karen Pico, Former ED, passes away Oct 13, 2016

We are very sad to announce the passing of Karen Pico, Family Paths' former Executive Director of 11 years (and part of the agency when we were Parental Stress Service for 21 years!). Karen helped negotiate the purchase of our building and we will always appreciate this amazing legacy she has left us all. Farewell to Longtime Managers

It's the end of an era! We bid a fond farewell to Vincenza Baldino (Family Support Manager) and Debbi Sack (Human Resources Manager) after 17 and 15 years, respectively, this summer. Our Bus Shelter Ad Campaign has launched!

Thanks to a generous grant from Kaiser Permanente Northern California Community Benefit Program, we have launched an ad campaign in South Alameda County to highlight our 24-Hour Parent Support Hotline with large format ads in 10 bus shelters in Fremont, Hayward and San Leandro. PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES – OAKLAND

EVERY MONDAY, JULY 6 – SEPTEMBER 28  |  7:00pm to 9:00pm

Our Positive Parenting Classes are appropriate for all types of families – expecting parents, parents of children of all ages, foster and kinship care providers, adoptive parents, LGBT families and others involved in parenting roles. Our curriculum is designed to provide parents with an understanding of parenting skills and knowledge, particularly in the areas of child development, communication, discipline and self-awareness, while emphasizing the importance of self-care. Our goal is to provide parents with the tools they need to create a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment.
Classes are offered in both English and Spanish and in several locations throughout Alameda County. Free childcare is provided onsite
