Family Paths

October 28, 2015

The Board of Directors for Family Paths announces with great regret that Family Paths Executive Director Marcella Reeves has resigned her position in order to deal with health issues that require her full attention. During her eight years as Executive Director, and in her 23 years at the agency, Marcella’s leadership enabled Family Paths to flourish as a trusted provider of mental health services to low-income Alameda County families and a supportive workplace where clinicians and other employees thrive. The members of the Board extend both their deep appreciation and their best wishes to Marcella.

The Board will initiate a search for a new Executive Director before the end of the calendar year. In the meanwhile, Clinical Director Barbra Silver has accepted the role of Interim Executive Director until the position is filled. Barbra has a long history at Family Paths and has the full confidence of the Board, Staff, and Community Partners. Please join us in supporting Barbra in her Interim role while also expressing appreciation for Marcella’s service.
