Parenting Stress Textline
Our Parenting Stress Helpline now provides a free and confidential TEXTING option that provides counseling, information to anyone in need of parenting support, and access to nearly 900 community resources from our vast database. You have access to caring parent support counselors for one time anonymous texts or regular texting support to help with your particular parenting or family concerns. We can also refer you to Family Paths’ services, or provide other Alameda County resources.
Access to our services is easy! Just text the letters FP to 61222 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5:00pm and 9:00pm and a counselor will help you in real time.
If you need support outside of these hours, you can call our 24-Hour Parenting Stress Helpline by calling 1-800-829-3777. You can also FILL OUT OUR INTEREST FORM.
