We’d like to introduce the Strong Families Alliance (SFA) of Alameda County. The SFA was created in 2020 at a time when our community and the world needed support during times of isolation, fear and uncertainty. The goal of the Child Abuse Prevention Council is to address the unmet community needs regarding the protection and well-being of children and their families. One unmet need identified from the 2018 Community Self-Assessment was to connect residents of Alameda County, and the greater Bay Area, to community resources, providers, and supports local to them.
